Land of Arywan Map 
There isn't much to Arywan that isn't known. It's history is just as rich as the rest of the world. Humans began here, and as they made their way across Icilus and into Turge, other races joined them. Now, there are few elven races in Turge and most make their home in Arywan. Gods have always been a large part of Arywan, and a vast majority praise one god or another, unlike Turge. Thousands of years ago, a hero arose from the wreckage of the old land and healed not only Arywan but the entire world as well. That hero lives on forever as their name was made into Arywan's name, and eventually the rest of the world insisted that the planet be justly named Arywan as well. Some argue that the planet was named Arywan before the land, but there is no proof which was named first. Any knowledge of who the great hero was is lost, though some believe certain magic users may know. (More cities and etc will be revealed as the novels go on, but as of now this is what has been seen.) |
