Changes: The following are things that were changed during the rewrite. It's just something fun for everyone to read and find out how different the story has become.

Changes to Deception: Kailin was orginally a hairdresser for a fashion magazine and not a Historian, working as a fact checker for history text books and novels. Kristian met Kailin while he was working as a model for her magazine. In the first write up, he was a rather tall, muscular male figure. But after some thought, it was better to make him a wanna-be movie star who was rather small and skinny... but still cute. Mathias was against Kailin and everything she stood for. He was part of an organization that was trying to have her destroyed before the prophecies could be played out. He even threatened her life. Instead of blackmailing Mathias, Tzion tricked him into exchanging blood with Kailin. Tzion was the love interest, who was trying to find ways for him to be with Kailin. As a elder and a fresh are against the laws of the vampire world. Mathias, and most of the other vampires, besides Kristian, Tzion, Kailin, and Gabrielle didn't come into the novel until halfway through. It was decided that they needed to be introduced earlier for readers to have any feelings for them. Alanna is a character recently added to the novels for a plot in the second novel. Though she doesn't have much to say because of her fear of vampires, she will be silently more of a character in book two. More to come....
