Gabrielle Montre
Name: Gabrielle MontreBorn: 1766 Birthplace: France Year Turned: 1792 Turned Age: 26 Age: 239 Master: Unknown Gabrielle was born in France, several years before the French Revolution began in 1789. She was a servant to a nobleman, whose name she does not remember. At a very young age, she was sent away to work at another manor. She never saw her mother, father, and siblings again. Her name was one given to her by her new master's child, who she was a playmate for. Gabrielle does not know the name that her parent's bestowed upon her. At the age of fourteen, the nobleman daughter was tired of her. She was given her freedom for her years of service in 1780. Having no real life experience and being a spoiled servant for most of her life, she had no where to go. The small amount of money given to her was gone quickly. In time, she was able to make it to Paris, where she met an interesting woman. Gabrielle wasn't aware of what the woman did for a living. But she couldn't get over the beautiful clothing and the way the woman wore her hair. She was invited to live with them as a kitchen servant, and soon learned it was a brothel. After some refinery, Gabrielle was allowed to become one of the working girls. She loved her new life, the money, and so much more that was given to her. Though she was looked down upon, it didn't matter to her. Everything she wanted was just one flirt, one night away. That was until October 5th of 1989, there was a mob outbreak. The city was torn apart, and the girls were left with no option but to flee. They were after all working for the noblemen that the peasants were revolting against. A nice, young man hid them in his country home. The girls remained in the shadows doing his laundry and other tasks, while he would disappear during the evening. Gabrielle began to notice her friends getting sick within the first week. One evening, while she dreamt, the sickness over took her. They all dead, but remained trapped in the world. The man left when they began to understand the full intensity of their undeaths. All that remained was a note, which explained why he had created and then abandoned them. It went on to further explain what they had become and what the dangers of the world would now be for them. Dear Friends, I regret to inform you that I have left this great land of ours. The battles of our lands leaves me uncomfortable, and unable to cope with the lack of feed. Upon your arrival, I did not know that I would have to abandon you. I had hoped that we would live well together, and thrive upon the raiding attacks of the Hallowed and Bowery. I know my words are alien to you, but fear not, as I will not leave you without the proper tools to survive as you are. You, my friends, are now of the undead, of the Pyrrhonian breed. In time you will discover your senses to be heightened. However, in exchange for this, you must be willing to take the lives of hearts that still beat. Their precious blood will sustain you. Be weary of artifacts of our lord and savior, and the land blessed in his name. Forgive me for what has occured, but matters elsewhere force me to take leave. It was left unsigned, but underneath was his journal that further explained what they had become. Through some investigation, they discovered that he had taken a boat to Boston. Angered by what they had become and that they had been used and tossed aside, they decided to destroy him. Collecting some money, they left for America behind him. They never found their master, before the Mephis and Kailin came into their lives. |
