Humans

The most common race in Arywan. Humans practice a large range of professions, and can live almost anywhere. They are ancient ancestors to Barbarians, however they are often smaller and more limber.

Basic Info:

Average Height: Females 5'3-5'8 Males 5'8-6'2
Average Weight: Various, humans have many different bone structures and some even eat excessively.
Skin Color: Various, depending on the area they were born. Pale to very dark, almost black.
Eye Color: Various, normally blue, green, brown, gray, or a combination. Hair Color: Various, blonde, brown, auburn, and gray are common.

Barbarians

The ancestors to humans that live in the southern desert lands. Not much is known about them, and their tribes are often harvested for slaves.

Basic Info:

Average Height: Females 6'0+ Males 6'5+
Average Weight: As a very muscular people they can easily weigh over 250lbs each.
Skin Color: Because they live in the desert, most have dark tans.
Eye Color: Usually brown, though with mixed breeding with humans some have been born with other colors.
Hair Color: Most common is blonde or brown.

High Elves

High Elves live in colonies built high in the trees. They normally do not leave their forest or go to the ground below, except for hunting and foraging.

Basic Info:

Average Height: Females 5'6-5'10 Males 5'10-6'3
Average Weight: A tall, but thin race. Older High Elves are likely to give into gluttony. So weight varies.
Skin Color: Normally a light tan, through genetics not sun.
Eye Color: Gray or Green are most common.
Hair Color: Various, most have brown or blonde hair.

Wood Elves

Like High Elves, Wood Elves live in the forest. However, unlike their large ancestors, they live on the forest floor. They are also very protective of their forest.

Average Height: Females 4'8-5'2 Males 5'2-5'5
Average Weight: Various.
Skin Color: Various, pale or tan depending on how much sun breaks through to their forest.
Eye Color: Usually brown.
Hair Color: Most often brown.

Snow Elves

A breed of Ashen Elf, that left their unground dwelling to live in the northern ice lands. Their skins are lighter then the ashen elf, but are often confused with ashen elf. Therefore they are unwelcomed in most civilations outside their own.

Average Weight: Various.
Skin Color: A light gray or purple.
Eye Color: Silver, ice blue are common.
Hair Color: White, gray, or silver are common.

Ashen Elves

Ashen Elves were once wood elves who escaped their homes and moved under ground. They are a hateful group, who believe that all should bow under their rule. Only hate and pain are acceptable emotions in their world.

Average Height: Females 4'8-5'2 Males 5'2-5'5
Average Weight: 90lbs-150lbs
Skin Color: Dark gray, black, or dark purple.
Eye Color: Silver, ice blue, black, or dark purple.
Hair Color: White, gray, or black.

Orc

Not much is known about the orc civilazation or how they came to be. It has been said that they are another breed of ashen elf that broke off while unground.

Basic Info:

Average Height: 5'10-6'5 for both genders.
Average Weight: Various, depending on how much food they can consume.
Skin Color: Green or gray.
Eye Color: Black normally.
Hair Color: Black normally.

Half Breeds

Half breeds of any two races are not welcomed or liked anywhere in Arywan. Most Half Breeds will claim heritage to which race they look most like. Humans are normally more accepting of Half Breeds then the other races, strangely though if half of the person is human, they will more likely shun them then accept.
